BOTOX® can achieve significant reduction of dynamic wrinkles – those caused by repeated facial movements such as frowning and squinting. Following our principal of natural and subtle, we use BOTOX® to relax facial muscles, instead of “freeze” them. The result is the softening and smoothing of facial lines and wrinkles, making you appear more awake, revived, and youthful while maintaining facial expression.

How It Works

The active component of BOTOX®, botulinum toxin A, works as a muscle relaxer by blocking the signals from the nerve that causes the muscle to contract. An ice pack is used to numb the skin, and then a tiny amount of BOTOX® is injected with an ultra-fine needle into the area being treated. This temporarily blocks nerve impulses from reaching the muscle, allowing the area to relax and the skin to lie smooth.

What To Expect

How It Feels

Most individuals note a mild pinprick sensation at the time of treatment, initial “stiffness” in the area may be noted after BOTOX® has taken effect.

Treatment Time

Most BOTOX® treatments take 15 to 30 minutes depending on the number of areas treated. It is truly a “lunch break procedure.”

No downtime is the norm. Rarely, a small bruise may occur in the area of injection.

The results can be seen within 7 to 10 days and usually last three to five months on average. It is best to repeat your BOTOX® treatment before lines and wrinkles fully return.
