Benefits

State of the art, multiple wave length laser systems such as PicoWay and AlexTrivantage are utilized, along with cutting edge protocols that accelerate the removal process, decreasing the number of treatment sessions.  The advanced combination allows for the effective treatment, even for intricate tattoos with many colors, while surrounding tissue remains relatively unharmed. Most amateur and professional tattoos, as well as traumatic tattoos, such as those from ‘road rash’, can be treated.

How It Works

Laser energy is delivered in extremely short pulses. Ink particles of the tattoo absorb the laser light and are shattered into tiny fragments. These fragments are then absorbed and transported away by your body’s scavenging white blood cells and lymphatic system.

What To Expect

How It Feels

Topical anesthetic creams are sometimes used along with pretreatment application of a cooling hydrogel dressing to minimize the hot, stinging sensation.

Treatment Time

Ranges from 5-40 minutes depending on the size of the tattoo.

Downtime

Normal activities are usually resumed immediately afterward. Slight bleeding may occur and crusting and swelling may last a few days.

Frequency

Tattoo removal is typically a long process requiring multiple treatments at six to eight week intervals to achieve the desired effect. The number of treatments depends on the size, location, depth, age and color of the tattoo. Professional tattoos require 6-10 treatments, or even more for removal.
